MINDFUL HEART
A WEEKEND CHANTING MEDITATION WORKSHOP WITH Marsha Eger, MA Ritual Chant and International Teacher of Chanting Meditation
We are taught to live mindfully, but
what about “heart - fully”? What good is mindfulness if it is not deeply
connected to our heart and what good is following our hearts unless we do so in
a conscious way? Should not all mindfulness have as its underlying paradigm,
heartfulness?
In this weekend workshop we will explore mindfulness and
heartfulness, and how we can connect the two. Through discussion, readings,
chants from world traditions, meditation, poetry, prose, and more, we will
explore our compassionate, kind and loving hearts as a driver and a measure of
our mindful actions and decisions and our manner of being in the world. In this
way we will balance our mind with our heart.
